Attio pricing explained: what you actually pay and what you get
Short answer: Attio is free for up to 3 users with unlimited contacts and companies. Paid plans run $34/seat/month (Plus), $69/seat/month (Pro), and custom (Enterprise) on annual billing. There are no per-record fees, no hidden marketing-suite add-ons, and no implementation fees from Attio. A 10-person team on Pro costs less than half of HubSpot Sales Hub Professional.
Why pricing matters more than features
Most CRM buying decisions come down to price — not because teams are cheap, but because CRM costs compound fast. A $30/seat/month difference across 15 people is $5,400 a year. Add implementation, training, and the add-ons you didn't budget for, and that gap widens.
Attio's pricing is straightforward compared to most CRMs. But "straightforward" doesn't mean there's nothing to think about. Here's what each plan actually gives you and where the value sits.
The plans
Attio has four tiers: Free, Plus, Pro, and Enterprise.
Free — $0, up to 3 users
This isn't a stripped-down trial. You get:
- Unlimited contacts and companies
- Custom objects and relationships
- List and kanban views
- Basic automations
- Email sync (Gmail, Outlook)
- Ask Attio (AI)
For a solo founder or a team of 2–3, this is a fully functional CRM. You can build a real workspace, import data, run pipelines, and automate follow-ups without paying anything.
The limits that matter: 3 users, fewer automation runs, and limited reporting. If that's enough, stay here.
Plus — $29/user/month (billed annually), $36 monthly
This is where most small teams land. Everything in Free, plus:
- No seat limits
- Private lists
- Enhanced email sending
The jump from Free to Plus is the biggest value shift. You go from a personal CRM to a team CRM. If you're adding a fourth person or need real reporting, this is the plan.
Pro — $69/user/month (billed annually), $86 monthly
Pro is for teams that run serious operations out of their CRM. Adds:
- Call Intelligence and sequences
- Advanced permissions
- Priority support
Most teams under 20 people don't need Pro on day one. But if you're running outbound sequences, need call recording and intelligence, or managing permissions across departments — this is the tier.
Enterprise — custom pricing (billed annually)
For larger organizations. Adds:
- Unlimited objects
- Unlimited teams
- Advanced security and admin controls
If you need SSO, custom contracts, and enterprise-grade permissions — this is the tier. If you need it, you already know you need it.
What's actually included vs. what costs extra
This is where Attio stands apart from most CRMs.
Included in every paid plan:
- Custom objects and relationships
- Automations
- AI (Ask Attio)
- Email sync
- API access
- Enrichment (with credits)
Not included / separate:
- Enrichment beyond your plan's credit allotment (you can buy more)
- Some integrations require middleware (Make, n8n, Zapier) — not an Attio cost, but a cost
Compare that to HubSpot, where custom objects require Professional ($90+/user/month), or Salesforce, where AI features are a separate SKU. Attio puts almost everything in the base plans.
How it compares on cost
Here's what a 10-person team pays annually on each platform's mid-tier plan:
| CRM | Plan | Annual cost (10 users) |
|---|---|---|
| Attio | Plus | ~$3,480 |
| Pipedrive | Professional | ~$5,880 |
| HubSpot | Sales Hub Professional | ~$10,800+ |
| Salesforce | Professional | ~$9,600+ |
These are list prices. The real gap is wider because HubSpot and Salesforce typically require implementation partners, onboarding fees, or add-on products. Attio doesn't.
For a 10-person team, switching from HubSpot Professional to Attio Plus saves roughly $7,000–$9,000 per year — before you count the admin time you're not spending.
The hidden cost most teams miss
CRM pricing isn't just the license. It's:
- Setup time — Salesforce takes months. HubSpot takes weeks. Attio takes days.
- Admin overhead — Salesforce needs a dedicated admin. HubSpot needs someone who knows the platform. Attio can be managed by anyone on the team.
- Training — The simpler the tool, the faster the team adopts it. Attio's learning curve is shallow.
- Switching cost later — The longer you're on an expensive CRM, the harder it is to leave. Starting on Attio means you're not building debt you'll have to pay off.
When teams tell me "Attio is cheaper," they're usually underestimating how much cheaper. The license is one number. The total cost of ownership is a different conversation.
Is the free plan enough?
For some teams, yes. Genuinely.
If you're a solo founder or a team of 2–3 people and you don't need advanced reporting or high automation volume, the free plan is a real CRM. Not a demo. Not a trial. A workspace you can run your business from.
The moment to upgrade is when you either add a fourth person or you hit a ceiling on automations or reporting. You'll know when it happens.
Is Attio worth it?
If you're comparing Attio to doing nothing — a spreadsheet, scattered notes, inbox chaos — it's worth it at every tier including free.
If you're comparing Attio to another CRM — the answer depends on what you need. For most teams under 50 people who primarily need a CRM (not a marketing platform or an enterprise stack), Attio gives you more for less. The pricing is predictable, the features are unlocked early, and you don't pay for things you'll never use.
The best way to know is to try it. You can have a working workspace in an afternoon.
