Short answer

The operating layer is a $900/month service that maintains your Attio workspace and AI agents after the build, running on your own account. Agent tuning, new automations, integration adds, and monitoring as your process evolves. Cancel any time.

What is included each month

Agent tuning

Agents drift as your process changes. New stages, new fields, new team members — each one shifts how the agents should behave. We adjust as you evolve.

New automations

As your team asks for new workflows, we build them. One new automation or agent behavior per month is included. Larger builds are scoped separately.

Execution monitoring

We watch agent runs for errors, edge cases, and unexpected behavior. Issues are caught and fixed before they become a problem for your team.

Data model changes

New objects, fields, and relationships as your business grows. Small structural changes included monthly. Large restructures scoped separately.

Async support

Questions answered, issues investigated, and changes made via async message. Response within one business day.

Which one fits?

Good fit if

  • You finished a 7-day sprint and want the agents kept current as your process changes
  • Your team uses Attio daily and relies on agents running correctly
  • You do not want to manage the Anthropic API, monitor agent runs, or debug automation logic yourself
  • Your process is still evolving and you expect to need changes regularly

Not necessary if

  • You just finished a setup and the workspace is stable — wait until you need changes
  • You have an ops person in-house who can handle Attio maintenance
  • You only need agents tuned once or twice a year — scope those as one-offs instead

FAQ

When should I start the operating layer?

After a sprint, once the workspace is live and your team is using it. The first month of real use always surfaces edge cases. Start the operating layer when you see things you want adjusted.

Is it a contract or can I cancel?

Month-to-month. Cancel any time. No minimum term.

What is included in 'one new automation per month'?

A single new agent behavior, trigger rule, or workflow that fits within your existing data model. Not a full rebuild — but a meaningful addition each month.

What if I need a large structural change?

We scope it separately. Major restructures are outside the monthly scope, but we will tell you up front what counts as one and give you a flat quote.

Whose account do the agents run on?

Yours. The operating layer maintains agents running on your own Attio and Anthropic accounts, so you own everything and there is no lock-in. We are the mechanic, not the landlord.

Do I need to be on a specific Attio plan?

No. The operating layer works alongside whatever Attio plan your team is on.
