Attio implementation cost in 2026: what you'll actually pay
Short answer: A typical Attio implementation in 2026 costs $3,000-$8,000 all-in for a 5-15 person B2B team. That breaks down as: Attio license $0-$69/seat/month, data migration $0-$3,000 (often bundled by partners), and setup work $1,500-$5,000 for a clean AI-native workspace. Enterprise builds with deep integrations and RevOps coverage run $15,000-$50,000.
"How much does an Attio implementation cost?" is never one question. It is three questions stacked on top of each other.
- What do I pay Attio for the license.
- What does it cost to move data in and set the workspace up.
- What does it cost to get it running the way the team actually works.
Most pricing pages answer the first one and skip the other two. This post answers all three, with real numbers and the ranges most teams land in.
The three cost buckets
Every Attio implementation has the same three line items. The ratio between them is what changes.
- License. Paid directly to Attio. Monthly or annual. Public pricing.
- Data migration. Moving records, relationships, notes, and history from the old system into Attio. Sometimes free, sometimes billable.
- Setup and expertise. The data model, custom objects, automations, reports, views, integrations, and team training. This is where partner fees and internal time live.
For a small team, the license is the biggest number. For a mid-market team, setup and expertise usually are. For an enterprise migration off Salesforce, the setup cost regularly dwarfs the first year of license.
1. License cost
Attio has four plans. Prices below are from the public pricing page, per user, per month.
| Plan | Billed annually | Billed monthly | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | $0 | Up to 3 users, full CRM |
| Plus | $29 | $36 | Small teams, no seat limit |
| Pro | $69 | $86 | Outbound, call intelligence, sequences |
| Enterprise | Custom | Custom | SSO, unlimited objects, volume discounts |
What that works out to in a year:
| Team size | Plus (annual) | Pro (annual) |
|---|---|---|
| 3 users | $1,044 | $2,484 |
| 10 users | $3,480 | $8,280 |
| 25 users | $8,700 | $20,700 |
| 50 users | $17,400 | $41,400 |
Enterprise pricing negotiates down at 50+ seats. A common ballpark is around €70 per user per month at that volume.
Full plan-by-plan breakdown lives in Attio pricing explained.
2. Data migration cost
Three routes, three cost curves.
Free, via Import2. When you start the migration from the "Migrate" button inside Attio, Import2 runs the one-click migration for free. Supported sources: HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, Close, Affinity, Copper, Zoho, and others. Companies, people, deals, custom objects, notes, and tasks come across. Emails, meetings, and file attachments do not.
For a clean source with a reasonable data model, this is zero dollars out of pocket. That is usually the right starting point.
Manual CSV, DIY. Still free in dollars, but costs time. Budget 4 to 12 hours of internal work for export, cleanup, mapping, and staged imports on a small or mid-size team. The cleanup pass is most of the time. Do not underestimate it.
Manual CSV or API, with a partner. When the data model changes significantly during the move, when custom objects have complex relationships, or when the dataset is over a few thousand records with linked children, a partner takes it off your plate. Typical range: $500 to $3,000 bundled into a broader setup engagement, or billed as a scoped piece of work.
Most real migrations end up as a hybrid. Import2 for the core CRM objects, CSV or API for the rest.
3. Setup and expertise cost
This is the line that swings the hardest. Five tiers, by who is doing the work and how much of it.
DIY, solo founder or small team
Cost: $0 out of pocket, plus 1 to 3 days of your time.
Basic setup in Attio takes 15 to 30 minutes: connect email, import contacts, create a couple of views. A functional CRM for a team of 5 can be live in an afternoon. For a solo founder who knows what they want the workspace to look like, this is the right route.
The trap is that Attio's flexibility becomes a tax when you do not know what you want. Teams who skip the data model step end up with a workspace as cluttered as the old CRM, just in a new shell.
Scoped setup engagement
Cost: $1,000 to $3,500 for a small or mid-size team.
One to five days of work. Typical deliverables: data model, custom objects, pipeline, core views, 2 to 4 automations, team training, and a short support window after go-live.
This is where most first-time Attio buyers land. The workspace comes out clean, the team adopts it faster, and the price sits well under a HubSpot or Salesforce implementation.
Public reference points:
- One third-party implementation consultant (Iteratum) lists Attio implementations at $3,000 to $8,000 depending on complexity, including workflow mapping, custom object design, relationship mapping, pipeline and view setup, team training, and 30 days of support.
- Most small partner engagements run 2 to 4 weeks end to end, with 3 to 7 working days of actual build time.
My version of this is The Attio Setup at $1,332: a 1-day setup plus 3 Claude skills running inside the workspace plus 14 days of Slack support. Priced at the low end of the range because the Claude skills do the ongoing grunt work that a partner usually bills for month over month.
Full migration and rebuild
Cost: $3,000 to $15,000 for a mid-market team.
Three to eight weeks. Includes the full data model rebuild, migration from a legacy CRM, custom objects with linked relationships, 6 or more automations, reporting dashboards, integrations (Slack, Gmail, Notion, QuickBooks, or similar), and team training across sales, success, and ops.
This tier is where the value of a partner compounds. A clean rebuild at this size saves more in ongoing admin time than it costs to run.
My version is AI-Native Attio Sprint at $2,997: 7-day migration and rebuild, 6 Claude skills, 30 days of Slack support. Priced to be obvious value against the next tier up.
Enterprise implementation
Cost: $15,000 to $75,000+.
50+ seats, SSO, advanced permissions, multiple custom objects with deep automation, integrations across finance, marketing, and product, and custom reporting. Typical timeline: 6 to 12 weeks.
At this tier the conversation is usually with Attio directly or with a senior partner who has shipped multiple workspaces of this size. Hourly rates in this range sit between $125 and $250 for most partners.
What a typical total looks like
The totals below combine license for year one plus the setup and migration. Assumes the Plus plan unless noted.
| Scenario | Team size | Setup approach | Year 1 total |
|---|---|---|---|
| Solo founder, self-setup | 1 | DIY | $0 to $350 (free plan or Plus) |
| Small team, partner setup | 5 | Scoped engagement | $3,000 to $5,200 |
| Mid-size team, migration from HubSpot | 15 | Full rebuild with partner | $8,200 to $20,000 |
| Mid-market, migration from Salesforce | 30 | Enterprise implementation | $25,000 to $60,000 |
These are full first-year numbers, not implementation fees alone. The license stays on the books every year. The implementation is a one-time spend.
What actually drives the price up
Partner quotes swing hard on a small number of variables. When a quote feels too high, usually one of these is the reason.
- Number of custom objects with real relationships. Two is easy. Five with cross-links gets expensive fast.
- Legacy CRM complexity. Salesforce migrations cost two to three times what a Pipedrive migration costs for the same team size. More data, more edge cases, more field cleanup.
- Automation depth. Rebuilding 5 automations is half a day. Rebuilding 30 is a week.
- Integrations. Native integrations (Gmail, Slack, Outlook, Calendar) are free time. Custom or middleware integrations (Zapier, Make, n8n, direct API) add hours each.
- Team training scope. Training one team of 5 is an hour. Training three teams across sales, success, and ops with role-specific views is a day or more.
- Reporting requirements. Five standard views is quick. Executive dashboards with multi-object rollups take real build time.
If any of these read as "yes, heavily," the quote lands at the top of the range. If they all read as "no or light," the quote lands at the bottom.
Attio vs HubSpot vs Salesforce, on implementation cost
This is the comparison that changes minds. Same 15-person sales team, same timeline, same level of polish on the final workspace.
| Platform | Typical implementation | Timeline | License year 1 | Year 1 total |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Attio | $3,000 to $8,000 | 2 to 4 weeks | ~$5,200 (Plus) | ~$8,200 to $13,200 |
| HubSpot | $6,000 to $30,000 | 4 to 8 weeks | ~$16,000 (Sales Hub Pro) | ~$22,000 to $46,000 |
| Salesforce | $30,000 to $100,000+ | 3 to 6 months | ~$28,800 (Sales Cloud Pro) | ~$58,800 to $128,800 |
The ratios tell the same story. Implementation runs 1.5x to 2x license for HubSpot, 3x to 5x license for Salesforce, and typically less than 1x license for Attio. That gap is the reason most teams under 50 people save 40 to 70 percent on total first-year spend by choosing Attio.
When you need a partner and when you don't
You don't need one if:
- You are solo or a team of 2 or 3.
- Your data model is simple: People, Companies, Deals, maybe one custom object.
- You do not have a legacy CRM to migrate from, or the source is clean.
- You have the time to learn Attio's data model before you build.
You probably do if:
- You are migrating off Salesforce, HubSpot Enterprise, or a heavily-customized legacy system.
- You have 3+ custom objects with real relationships between them.
- You need integrations beyond the native set.
- You have tried to DIY once and the workspace is already drifting.
- You want the implementation to survive the next hire, not just the first sales kickoff.
The test I run with prospects: if the team is spending more than 4 hours a week keeping the CRM honest, a partner engagement pays for itself inside a quarter.
How I price my engagements
Full offer ladder is on the pricing page. Short version:
- Free 48-Hour Audit. Teardown plus a 5-minute Loom of the single highest-leverage fix. 5 slots a week.
- AI-Native Attio Setup, $1,497. 1-day setup, 3 Claude skills, 14 days of Slack support. Workhorse for most small teams.
- AI-Native Attio Sprint, $2,997. 7-day migration and rebuild, 6 Claude skills, 30 days of Slack support. For teams moving off HubSpot, Pipedrive, Close, or Salesforce.
- Managed Attio, $497/month. 6 hours a month, skills kept fresh, monthly health report. For teams that need the CRM kept alive without a RevOps hire.
The Claude skills are the reason the prices sit below the market. They automate the ongoing enrichment, deduplication, and reporting work that partners usually charge retainers for. You get them on day one and keep them after the engagement ends.
The honest answer
For most teams under 50 people, a clean Attio implementation runs $0 to $10,000, done in 1 to 4 weeks, with a year-one total (license plus setup) that sits well under what HubSpot or Salesforce charge for the license alone.
The numbers only blow out when the data model is complex, the source is Salesforce, or the integrations are custom. In those cases, a partner engagement still pays for itself inside two to three months of saved admin time.
